Also, where is a good p[lace in the mesa area to biuy a bed or a futon? thanks so much you guys. crafty get together at my plawhen I get setlled,. okay?

Ikea is a great source and there are plenty of thrift stores-- Goodwill, Salvation army, Savers, St Vincent DePaul, to name a few. You can also try freecycle.org or  EastValleyRecycle@yahoogroups.com (used to be related to freecycle site)where people give stuff away if you come and pick it up.

I also have a black metal (queen size ?)futon that I need to get rid of soon.  Just so you know -- not from a pet free home. If you or any other AZ craftster is interested in this let me know. If not I will probably post it on the EVRecycle board sometime later in the summer.

What part of Mesa will you be in? I'm in far west Mesa less than 3 miles to ASU's Tempe campus.

How soon is soon? I won't be there until the 25th of next month, is that too late for the futon? also, what kinds of pets are we talking about? I'm not sure what part of mesa we're in, it's over next to the GM proving grounds?

I have a dog and cat but it hasn't been where they can get to it for at least a year but I'm sure it's not allergen free, but it is in good condition. If you sewed  up a couple of sheets to cover it, it would be great (I usually just have a fitted sheet on it since it is against the wall in a bedroom and no one can see the back)

... so if still interested I can hold onto it until after you arrive, although it's a good 20 miles or so one-way from where I am to GM proving grounds at Ellsworth Rd south of the 60 in Mesa. So let me know what you think... and if you have a truck..or maybe we could unbolt it and stuff it in the back of your car...

Later, Carole

I will totally take you up on the offer of the futon, thank you. We have a large green van, that if it survives the trip to arizona should be more than capable of toting the futon to and fro. none of us are allergic. no worries. thanks again.
