my first words:  HOLY CRAP!  My second words: HOLY CRAP!
I do Elizabethan gowns...but yours is just as awesome!  Beautiful work on the trim and the undergarments.  They aren't the easiest things in the world to manage.

This is amazing!!!! I work with costumes and we have tons from this era that are nowhere near as beautiful as yours is. I actually have those two patterns but have yet to work up the guts to use them so major points to you! Can I ask, what did you make it for?

Shocked Wow that is beautiful, and those words just don't cut it. I mean WOW!!!

I love the two colors together they are great, and then the mask, hair, fan. Love it. I have the same patterns and can't wait to craft a gown though I have no place to wear it. Not that it's going to stop me. I'm trying to make a mock up but funds are tight and I'm confused about the back of the dress Embarrassed. the long drapes of fabric are they just sewn in on the top of the gown and then draped down, or are they sewn onto the sides of the skirt? Huh I'm going to have to research better when I get some time. I'm a hands on learner and some of the visuals are confusing to me. Then again sometimes the easiest things are the hardest for me, and the hard things come me no problem.  Tongue

beautiful dress. Smiley
