This was made a couple of months ago for my sister's wedding. It's grey tulle over an aqua blue fabric (I'm not too sure what it's really called, but on the bolt it was printed "wool peach"). 3/4 circle full-length skirt, with a waistband and an invisible zipper at the back. It is a VERY heavy skirt, what with all that fabric. I thought I'd used enough tulle, but looking at the photo, I think I should have used more. My first time working with tulle (and also my first time working with THAT much fabric on a single item), so there were times when I felt like shaving my head again *laughs*.

That is beautiful.  I've never sewn with tulle, is it difficult?

Penny: Oh, wow! A girl scientist!
Leslie Winkle: Yup. Come for the breasts. Stay for the brains.

Thank you!

I had a bit of trouble making the gathers with them at the waistband and also attaching the zipper, but I'm not sure if that was because it IS hard to work with, or it was only because I was wrestling with so much fabric! It's quite delicate though, so I had to be careful making turns and whatnot.
