Chicken Felt Ornament

This little felt chicken ornament was inspired by one of our own Buff Orpington chickens. Often when we check for eggs, there’s a Buff in the Box – that is a Buff in the nesting box getting settling to lay an egg. If you try to check under her for eggs she’ll repay your interruption with a cluck and a peck. You can download the pattern here.

I seriously freaked out when I was this. I looooove chickens and these guys are so cute. I like that you added straw to the box.

Ohhh! These would be perfect for my ma-in-law! Her kitchen is decorated with roughly a billion chickens and I think she could use a couple of more.
