This is simply amazing!  I've put out a garden the last three years but have almost decided not to even attempt one this year because the previous ones were so disappointing.  What you have done seems impossible to me.  Many, many congratulations to you.

Sometimes it seems impossible to me, too, coocoosnest.  Don't give up!  If in-ground gardening isn't working for you, try veggies in pots.  You just need to remember to water every day (make it a habit with either morning coffee or an evening after dinner glass of something lovely), and   occasional fertilization means better yields!

Love the greenhouse. Hoop houses are big now here in North Texas. I use low tunnels for my lettuce most of the time but this year has been so mild I've needed anything but a sheet. All the neighbors are getting my extras and loving every minute.

For all you folks interested in making one, go over to Johnny's Selected seeds and see their videos and instructions on how to do it. They sell the pole benders so you can bend your own hoop house and buy all the pipe locally. No expensive shipping that way.

Hope no one minds me promoting them but I really like those folks and they seem dedicated to helping folks grow food.

Awww, you guys are so sweet!!  I'm guessing the fact that we've just started lambing doesn't help, right?

I had a small greenhouse when I was growing up. It was a great place to relax. Unfortunatly I have to much shade to have one now.

this is fantastic! I was wondering if you would share where you bought the kit for the greenhouse from? I did read through before I posted this to try and make sure I'm not asking again, but I didn't see anything... I love it when people are able to self sustain.

We got it at Puckett Greenhouses in Ararat, VA.  If you're interested in building one, I suggest you search for greenhouse suppliers close to home for two reasons.  Firstly, the parts arrived on a flatbed truck so I can imagine shipping would be cost prohibitive if it had to travel a long way.  Secondly, we were able to find greenhouses locally that were built by this supplier and took a ton of detailed photos for reference.  The instructions that came along with the flatbed truck were just two pages, including a diagram.  The photos were really really helpful.
