Here is the first quilt I've ever made! I made it for my baby nephew for his Christmas present. I didn't need to buy any fabric because I had so much stocked up, i ALSO recycled some old cotton striped PJ pants which felt great to give them a new purpose! Making the quilt helped us save money on Presents this year

That is a great quilt for a little boy. I agree, he should grow into it and use it for years. Nice work

I love the fact you recycled fabrics too and it didnt cost anything as you had the items already Smiley
I am going to try and make a quilt for a christening present using fabrics I have already (no money broke lol)

Thanks for all the compliments! It was so much fun, and I liked the Idea of making him a twin sized quilt so he could grow into it. Gifts that last for years, keep giving. I hope he does love it and keep it close to him as he grows. That would be the best present in return.!!!! I loved making this one so much I started making one for his sister. I'll post when I'm done!
