smashu, those teaser's look awesome! I can't wait until it gets here. Cass is going to flip Cheesy

I bought a Styrofoam head this weekend, something I never thought I'd own, lol. All for you Grin I figured it'd be easier to mold the mask on. I need to get to work on some extras and finish out my main piece. I'm in training all this week for work and it's seriously got me exhausted - cutting down on my craft time, meh.

Hmmm. Looks like my post didn't make it on here. Hmmm. Ooookay.
Got the hair in yesterday! Went straight to the store to get paint that would match. If anyone who has ever done any customization (or is currently trying it) has any tips at all I would greatly appreciate it. Could you please convo me?

gozer - I think there's a forum on www.monsterhighdolls.com about customization - might be helpful

For the face and the hands you need to use a water based acrylic paint.  Here is a video on you tube that is really good.  The only thing is she can't hold the camera still to save her life so its a bit like watching the Blair Witch project.  Let me know if this helps.

I think I am going to scrap that project and start something else today. Thank you to everyone for all your help but I just don't feel like I can get a great quality peice out in time. I don't want to send a sad doll out. Every time I turn around there is another problem. Last night I got home from my second job and went to test the paint and parts of the doll were missing. I asked my husband and he had thrown them away (on trash day non the less) because he thought they were broken peices. I just don't have the heart to keep going with it. I think that was the final sign to pack it up and start something else before I have nothing. I went to bed upset and freaking out again but was able to come up with something else. Going out today on my lunch break to get supplies!
