The little weekly episodes only air online.

2 specials have aired on nickelodeon so far (New Ghoul, and the one at halloween this year) with a love themed one airng this month.
I've seen some people mention that their cable companies sometimes have the episodes on demand earlier than the airdate, some the day of or shortly after and some don't seem to ever get it.

I'm really thinking of joining this swap.  I've never joined a craftster swap before.  I want to make stuff for the dolls, like clothes assessories or maybe even dollhouse (furniture and stuff, maybe even a whole room, minus the room, LOL).  I think it would be fun to make and receive stuff for the dolls.

I saw alot of the new dolls in Target last week.  I *think* Operetta was one of them.  Cleo's older sister was another (can't remember her name).

I'd love to customize a doll, but I've never done it and wouldn't even know where to start or buy supplies.  Do ya'll have some links for supplies and general customizing instructions (which paints to use, etc)?  I'll be able to make a judgement call if I can look at everything I'd need to get, to see if I could do a customization.

Thanks

I usually end up watching the online episodes.
I saw last night that Operetta was also available on Amazon for 34 bucks or something, not super inflated! Just sayin.. Smiley Ugh, we get nothing in stores here. It's pathetic!

@Trocks I'm in the same boat, haven't swapped since April 2009! lol

@lylacfey Sorry to hear you are having so many things happen. My thoughts are with you!

Okay so I'm not the only one that thinks that's a reasonable price.  I'm going shopping this weekend and if I can't find her then ebay or Amazon here I come!

I wish you would join!  Here are some sites that I have bought things from for customization that have been great.  Depending on what medium you plan on using here are a few choices:
http://dollmakersjourney.com/index.html  Cloth doll supplies super quick service.
http://www.restoredoll.com/     More for the vinyl doll customization.
http://www.dollyhair.com/main.htm   also vinyl doll restoration and customization.

Hope this helps!

Amazon's crazy MH prices. I have a confession. Last August I had B-day money. I was saving it for Abbie. My WM gets the new dolls in, miraculously. There is Spectre. I had her in my hand. I put her back because she's not Abbie. The week before that I bought a Moxie so my doll budget was a bit low. I never got my hands on Abbie. Then Spectre was gone when I decided to get her the next week. I kicked myself.

This X-mas I am in B&N. Who do I find? Abbie! Last one. I ran out the door hugging her. I still don't have Spectre. My DH said "Order it from Amazon." I said she is really expensive. DH said "She's no longer made." I ordered her.

Three days later my WalMart gets a whole shipment in of Spectre and Abbie. I could have kicked myself, lol. It's Spectre and she is really worth it.

Cherry- Don't be too daunted about customizing a doll. Once you start you will get hooked. Before my DH's accident I was starting a custom Bratz doll. I plan to finish her up hopefully this Spring.

I have a couple duplicate dolls so I may try playing around with one of them to see what it would take to customize. I really want to try to re-root hair. I have an extra Toralei and I would love to give her long curl hair!

those sites I listed have some really good tips about rerooting also.  Dollyhair sells an incredible reroot tool that is so worth getting!  I think its only about $15.00 last time I checked.

I do a lot of Topper dawn and Barbie customs so if you need any tips let me know.

Down girl down! LOL!  I'm excited too! Grin

I had always liked the Monster High dolls after seeing them in target one day, but I had no idea that there were clips until reading this thread! I have watched all of them now and can't wait until the 12th to watch the new one (even though it is CGI).

I even talked to my husband about what I would be if I was a monster. Lol. We both thought that I'd be a Sasquatch as I am 5'10 with a size 10 shoe and hail from California.

I'm thinking I may have to join this swap to try my hand at customizing a doll. It might be fun to make some doll clothes again like I did as a kid.

Join us! It will be great fun Smiley I love that you know what kind of monster you would be! I have no idea what I'd be myself but my first MH cosplay was Frankie so I kind of recognize her as myself whenever I watch the show lol

I'm bummed about the CGI in the special as well, that seems to be the general consensus from the whole fan community. Hopefully it was just a momentary lapse in sanity on their part! Smiley
