So... I went out and rented season 1 disc 1 tonight... (I love the show but rarely have the opportunity to watch). I think my favorite episode so far is Luminous Fish. Sheldon's Mom and her "I didn't say 'if it pleases your highness'" comment, and the whole "working with luminous fish and thought... hey, loom" (sorry... badly paraphrased). I have a small loom so I liked that quote even before I saw the episode but now I doubly love it lol

oh my word, I'm gonna check that out when I get home. I hardly ever get to see new BBT becasue it's only on in the evenings and 4OD, where each weeks new epidode was supposed to be avalible, is never updated, and now seems not to be having BBT at all
I just got the first 4 seasons on DVD so I'm gonna have a fest tomorrow night, and start crafting on a small as I picked up supplies yesterday. But if I can find the new stuff online that would just rock my geek out...

Roller derby sounds like a much more exciting way to break a limb than slipping on ice.

Sorry about your leg, Kitten Wrangler. Did you slip on ice?

I'm Australian. It's summer here - no ice. I was at roller derby training, and ess turning around to legally block an opponent. But I planted my foot far too securely, and broke my tibia and fibula as I turned. That's right. I'm so tough I break my own bones.

I've got a few ideas for things to make for my partner. Now I just need to send someone out to get supplies.

Pretty sure you wouldn't be Australian unless you were tough enough to do that lol.

I would love to do roller derby, but I have Osteoarthritis in my hips so its a no go. 

I bought some supplies this weekend so I'm ready to get started.   I did a major cleaning/overhaul  of my studio yesterday, so at least I know where everything is.

Just checking in! I've started my large project and it's coming along quite nicely. I think it may be the most favorite thing I've ever made. Seriously.

Still brainstorming on the other item. I probably won't decide until right before I start working on it.
