Another great episode tonight. I love the new confident, "this is who I am" Leonard. Amy was hilarious. They gave her character the greatest lines. . . "You'd fetch a unicorn" . . . I love what she said about Marie Curie when Sheldon was working with her in the Biology lab.

I picked up some supplies at hobby lobby today to get started. I have some really great ideas. They are a little out of my comfort zone but I'm looking forward to trying something new.

I just *ahem* watched the latest episode... Loved Penny's line about all the girls having a meeting... Cheesy

In news vaguely reminiscent of Kaley Cuoco, not 24 hours after sending in my questionnaire.... I broke my leg. It was an insanely impressive break, and I'm packing some serious hardware inside my right leg now. I expect to have lots of lovely crafting time, but it makes it damnably difficult to reach any of the supplies, and I find I'm sleeping a lot more than usual. I may be at the computer less as well, because my computer set up is awkward to deal with, with an incapacitated leg.

Kitten Wrangler- Here's to a speedy recovery! My husband's best friend broke his ankle in November and is now part Terminator/six million dollar man too.
Hubby is out of the hospital and home so all is well for now. Knock on wood.  Trying to get caught up on this swap.

Glad your husband is home, nmcakemOm07.

Sorry about your leg, Kitten Wrangler. Did you slip on ice?

Take care of yourself, Kitten Wrangler!

Crafty news:
Just got 1st item finished!
The next few will take longer. I was just super-proud of myself and had to share.

I jumped right into my large item and and nearly done. I just have to add a few minor details. My husband is annoyed because I am spending all my time crafting various things and none on him.

Kitten wrangler- sorry to hear about your leg, hope you heal quickly.

I've finished the planning stage and started on the small item, but I have to take a break for the next few days while I move.

I'm Australian. It's summer here - no ice. I was at roller derby training, and ess turning around to legally block an opponent. But I planted my foot far too securely, and broke my tibia and fibula as I turned. That's right. I'm so tough I break my own bones.

I've got a few ideas for things to make for my partner. Now I just need to send someone out to get supplies. Wink
