I just ordered the "VCR Boxes". Smiley I will think of that term every single time I look at those boxes, lol. My box will be crammed full too. I have a lot of stuff I want to destash. It's all beautiful. No worries future partner of getting something like "OMG, she really shouldn't have. Trust me, she really shouldn't have." .Smiley My art interests are changing so I am making room for new things.

That's so funny!  I have so much awesome stuff that doesn't get used, but it's mostly just because I tend to buy things I like or think are cute or cool, and not because they are actually conducive to the types of art/crafts I like to make.  Hopefully some of it can find a new home in this swap and actually get the use it deserves!

I do the same thing... I have an obsession with the "value bags" at Joanne's and Big Lots...they have tons of stickers, ribbons, brads, etc in a variety of themes for around $10-$20, and it ~always~ is cheaper than buying 1 or 2 that I "really want".  I got a $20 "value bag" at Joanne's that was on clearance down to $10 and when I got to the register, it rang up $3- SCORE! I grabbed it for the Disney sticker set in it that matched a theme I am working with in another swap, and it had a few other "maybe-possibly" ones in it.   After leaving, and bouncing up and down, I figured out that I paid something like 35 cents per package of embellishments.

OooOOo, I'm trying not to buy craft stuff this year (I'm a student and just don't have the funds, plus I have a ridiculously huge stash that has taken over a lot of our house and needs to be used).  Buuuut, a Big Lots just opened about 10 minutes from here and now I am really tempted to stop in there next time I'm out and about...just to see what they have, of course.   Wink  I've never been inside of one and hadn't even considered that they might have a craft section (though thinking back I know I've seen people mention them on here before).  Thanks for the tip!  Haha.

It's not called "crafts" there.  Depending on how your local store is set up it may be either by party supplies, or by books, or in the "stationary/school supplies" section. I travel alot here in FL (Tampa Bay area) and the stores I hit regularly all have it in different places.  I don't think they quite know what to do with it.  Smiley
