glad you like em! I thought they looked like they were going to kiss too hehe! I dont know why they show up so dark my camera does that too sometimes if its too shiny! I bet its the gloss I put on them to protect them.  I took pics to show some friends the details and to keep in my "things I made" folder to look back on. I will post em here so you guys can see the detail better I hope thats not a huge faux pas (newb brains) sorry if so! (I just wanted to show the details Smiley ) what is funny is the pictures of the bead parts you took look soooooo much better than my pictures I took haha Cheesy Picky cameras LOL

I am hooked now! I'm over here looking for another swap to get on and going at Cheesy

I received a great stamp in the mail from astrangeone yesterday!
It is a stamp of Bulbasaur and Charmander (my life partner's and I's preferred starter Pokemon respectively).  I think it looks perfect, they both look so happy.

She also sent a mini paper crane, which will be added to my collection that is hanging in my bedroom!  ^_^  Thanks so much!  I have lots of plans for this little stamp.

Ill weave your names into my ribcage; lock your hearts inside my chest.
Regain the passion I once carried; do away with all the rest.
I tore the sickness from your bodies; smashed its head against the bricks.
I made a castle from its bones that you may always dwell in it.

Thanks!  The test stamp turned out pretty bad - the only black ink I had on hand was Stazon, and that stuff reacts with the base material badly!

I've gotten into doing stamps just after Xmas (I got a speedball linoleum cutter and blocks for christmas by request) I've been using erasers for "Big Mistakes" but do you think that the rubber block they sell for stamp making is better? Its so expensive and I wonder. I mean all my stamps have came out pretty good i just hope they dont start breaking down on me. I know what you mean about ink as well I had this one that was sticky and it really messed up my lines. I just got 3 pads on amazon "Ink it up" brand and they are nearly bone dry! >.> Rip off artists! lol

WhimsicallyObsessed - Oh, the Ink It Up pads are pretty bad!  (They are pigment based, so that's why they are dry, but I find that they don't last too long!)  I've been using the thinner "For Big Mistakes" erasers - and they get sticky if you use them with solevent ink!  Personally, the "pink stuff" - the Speedball brand is too soft for me - I like carving with a firmer surface.  (I have yet to try lino, and I think I might - because the lino at my local craft store is much cheaper!)

I know how it feels to be in a small town - my uni town only has a few Shoppers Drug Marts with a few franchise POs.  It sucks.
