A few weeks ago I came across this http://www.hellobrit.com/food/12-healthy-soups-to-warm-you-up-all-winter-long/

A couple Sundays ago, in just about 5 hours, I made five of those soups.

1. Creamy White Bean Soup (I used turkey bacon)

2. Roasted Squash and Pear Soup with Brie (probably the least healthy)

3. Fresh Greek Lentil Soup

4. Beet and Fennel Soup with Greek Yogurt (two grocery stores I went to only had flavored kefir, but greek yogurt works just fine!)

5. Roasted Garlic Broccoli Soup

All in the freezer:

I made 35 small containers (plus a little extra of the squash and Greek lentil soups).  I gave one container of each kind to my neighbor and one of each to my mom.  Still enough soup for me for a month!

What an awesome idea! I never think that I'd actually eat stuff that I made ahead of time, but these just look delicious! You made them look so appetizing. It would be perfect after a long day in work and a trafficky drive home...

Thanks guys!  They were perfect to take for lunch, they would be partially defrosted and ready to heat and eat by the time I was hungry.

Some were definitely better than others.  The Greek lentil soup was THE BEST EVER!

The cheesy one looks delicious. I would have trouble not eating more than one, they look so good.
