I have stayed away from stamps because I don't need another addiction.........but I think this just put me over the edge! Smiley  Love them with stamps.

such a cute tutorial. we've been stamping with poylmer clay for pendants and keychains, but the kiddos are going through it to fast. salt dough would be a much cheaper alternative for christmas ornaments.

walmart has a set of 1/4" letter stamps for a dollar in their scrapbook section that are great for personalizing.

after you clean these are your stamps okay for working on paper again after they have been washed?

Wow, I'll snag that set for sure.  We're making these again this year -- kiddo is already asking about them and I think it's a neat keepsake for us to make yearly.

Oh, yeah.  They're totally clean.  I just wiped them with a rag and hot water the same evening and they were great.

Oh wow, I've never heard of salt dough ornaments! These are gorgeous!

Did you seal them with anything? And how long is the shelf life usually?

I have no idea on shelf life. Undecided  We made them as kids, years ago, but I was too busy running around like a crazy kid to notice year-to-year decor.  I'll unpack last year's in a few days and see if they survived (hope so!).

I did seal.  I just used a plain old craft sealer.  I think I used pearl to give them some shimmer.
