This is the biggest crochet project I've managed yet. I saw this super cute baby blanket online and luckily, the creator shared tips on how she made it. She in turn got the idea from someone else, who also gave tips on making the blanket.

I used Bernet Satin in Lavender and ended up using just shy of 9 skeins. I used a J hook, but could have easily used a larger hook to make it go faster as the fabric is pretty dense. Size wise it is approximately 39 inches by 37 inches.

Beautiful!  Labor-intense, but well worth the time you put into it  Smiley

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!
