Lovely. I read the link you posted. I would prefer to do mine in cardboard like yours. Can you offer any help regarding bending the cardboard brim to shape? Is there a trick to covering the brim with fabric so the edge does not look wonky?Thanks.

I shape the brim by rolling it up on the sides, rolling the brim around a paint brush handle. Not that you see it very well in the pics but I actually cut a strip of bias binding from the fabric I am using to cover the hat.  The bais binding hides the raw edges of the fabric covering both sides of the brim.

Saw these for the first time, and they are absolutely adorable!
I totally pictured using these with place cards on a table...I would have to resist setting them on my cat's head too.  Cheesy
