If they are near me they've likely all taken the day off to bask in the sunshine and celebrate the first spring-like day.

Canada Post is NOTORIOUSLY slow. I once sent an envelope to the next province and it took a month. I'm patient, no worries - and the Husband is at home in case they bring it to the door!

I've already told suereal this but it's worth repeating. Seriously. I feel like Sheldon on that episode of Big Bang when he gives all those gift baskets to Penny. You'll see what I mean below....



First, a cute as a button shelf which will declare my fancy pantery to all who lay eyes on it.



Next a really cool box that was wrapped in this super cool ray gun fabric.



Inside the box are oodles of goodies!



Including this most excellent badge which I can change depending on what I feel like ruling for the day

I'd take a better photo of the details but I'm refusing to take it off until 100% necessary. I'm about to jog down to the bus stop wearing it!

I keep staring at the altered box. It's mesmerizing me. How did you get the name detail to be a raised texture?

Thanks all.  I knew as soon as I discovered our mutual love of old school wrestling, that the belt had to be made.  It's just craft foam and cardboard and felt all sandwiched up and glue gunned together.  The letters are a precut book of foam letters I got at a dollar store.  I stacked them 2 high to make sure they were raised off the back ground enough.  They were peal back stickers, so it was easy to do.

I got the ray gun material as a fat quarter from the Craft Warehouse in my folks home town in Washington State.  I got it last year, so it might still be available.  I had to send that as I think someone who owned that many ray guns must be VERY important

And the box was super fun and easy (and only slightly painful..) to make.  It's just hot glue glopped onto the tin!  I put maybe 4 layers down.  You have to add some and then let it dry and then add more, or it just all melts together.  I also added little wood bead legs the same way.  I used Martha Stewart craft paints to paint it all (mostly the Gold and the Pearl purple)  The best paint I have found so far.  It sticks to everything it seems.  It is the paint I used on the belt as well.  From what I had read, if I used regular craft paint, I would have had to modpoge all the craft foam to get the acrylic to stick to it.  The MS paint made it so I could skip that step.
