I like to make weird jewelry out of the crap I am compelled to gather in my travels Smiley  Here's my latest pieces...

This one is made of an old watch carcass, a tiny porcelain dresdan doll, text with a rusty key bail

My favourite made out of a piece of steel, cool rusty circle thing, text with a mica overlay and rusty wire

These pendants are made of hand hammered bailing wire, text filled with resin

This one has a neato brass base (some kind of tag?) that has a 5 stamped on it, bailing wire overlay and a rusty star charm

And this one is made from an old camera bulb that I picked up in Atlanta while junking with rackycoo last spring  I made a button bail out of vintage buttons

These were fun to make, I usually have no plan just a pile of crap, E600 and findings Smiley

Every single one of those is super fun and soooo interesting!!  I never find cool junk like that! (and if I did, I doubt I'd have your amazing inspiration!)  Love them!

haha, you can actually buy rusty junk on etsy.  most of it comes from $1 boxes at auctions and from poking around outside the various auto shops in town.  I find a lot of crap on the ground, which is why my kids pretend they are not with me when we are walking around Cheesy

you must walk alone too Cheesy  I have an amazing collection of flattened rusty bottle caps from every truck stop/turnout we have driven past but haven't quite figured out what kind of jewelry to make with them...

Cheesy So true! Even got my hubby in on the action. I always feel like they are little treasures just waiting for me to find them.
