So okay I am not the worlds best knitter... and therefore yes this is off a pattern. But I had to show everyone, just because I was so happy I finished something that looked this sweet. Love this guy... even did a friend to go with him.









And his friend - the Owl of Mystery.



I should point out that I have no idea where those names came from... or why I have stuck with them... but hey, no major right?

Oh wow, I have never wanted an Owl stuffie so badly before.  I think for knitting a patterned piece you will surely get the hang of it, and will make some of your own awesome things. I encourage you to make more cute stuffies.  Wink

I love the ear tufts! The scarf makes them really cute.
I think the opposite way about patterns- doing my own thing is easy whereas following a pattern= looking up new techniques, printing stuff out, counting.
