For some reason (maybe that whole thing called a wedding...) I have been holding back a fair number of things I've made over the last year and I'm just now getting around to posting them!  Embarrassed

I made this slouchy tam at this time last year. I think I finished near the end of February.  I say finished but I've actually never woven in the ends....  Lips sealed  It's based off of the mermaid slouchy tam by howgerman. I just used her stitch numbers but didn't use the stitch pattern she used. I just did two rows of Red Heart Eco-Ways Bamboo Wool in Peacock and two rows of Bernat Mosaic in the Psychedelic colorway. It worked out perfectly! I got the entire color spectrum in the hat.

You can see where I wasn't working the rows properly at the bottom. I think I was moving the end around on the needles and changing position thinking it wouldn't matter but it did!

I absolutely LOVE this hat and if I can think of an equally amazing second set of yarns to use I might just make it again.

Here's my version of the infamous calorimetry. I used a gorgeous yarn given to me by lapoli, Rio De La Plata Faded Begonia Pink.  This has been sitting around 98% done for at least as long at the hat, although my ravelry account says I started it in June of 2010... yeesh. This last week I took the maybe 10 minutes needed to weave in the ends and attach the button I made out of polymer clay (also many moons ago) with embroidery floss. I've already worn it multiple times since I finished and I'm guessing it will look amazing with my upcoming hair change (all pink dreadlocks! woohoo!)

I also went on a washcloth making spree, although I only have this picture to share as the rest have gone to live elsewhere. It's a pattern from Ravelry called "D'oh Dad".  Tongue

All fun pieces, but the Homer washcloth is fun! Good luck with your pink dreads. Smiley

I love the colors in the tam! And the Homer washcloth is just too funny. I might need me one of those.

That hat is gorgeous!  I think I would have shot myself in the foot instead of weaving in all those ends, though.

Oh no I didn't break the yarn! I just left it and picked it back up again when I needed it.  The only ends are the ones at the beginning and end and then a little hiccup in the middle.  Smiley
