My partner just received in the Sherlock Holmes Swap and I was really excited on how the hoopla I made her turned out



It's such a good show and I love the color tone they use.
I wanted to try a play in texture and really ran with a bunch of different stitches to fill the silhouette. For that I used a dark charcoal grey.
I'd never done a speckled stitch before and the top (sky) seemed like a good place to do it.



 To tell the truth, it was a bit hard to part with.
But my partner was totally worth it!
My apologies for the picture quality, it was a bit late when I took them.

This is beautiful. The silhouettes are awesomely detailed, and I love the interplay of the different stitches!
