Felted Slippers

This is a little bit of recycling, felting and kids footware.
I made slippers from felted wool sweaters for my nieces for Christmas this year. The pattern is free from HellomynameisHeathe r. http://www.heatherbaileydesign.com/Booties.html


I added holly leaves cut from felt, buttons and some pre-cut felt snowflakes to jazz them up a bit.


This pair is for the walker. The soles are cut from the wrist of the sweater. The sweater was a hoodie, so I snipped the hood cord and used it for a loop to help make them easier to pull on.

Those are so sweet! I have some wool sweaters around here, I wonder if I could manage an adult size for me?
