Hello fellow sewers!

I got a fancy-pants Serger for Christmas, so I can finally get started on so many of the knit clothing projects I've been queuing up.
But, being on a budget, I'm looking for your favorite sources of cheap knit fabrics. I know I can try thrift stores, and I've got my own stash of clothes I don't wear, but I still need a source of by-the-yard fabric.

Any suggestions?

Here's a source which always seems to have something on sale; what you're looking for might not be on sale today, but it will be eventually, and their not-on-sale prices seem generally pretty low, plus they have a huge selection:  http://www.denverfabrics.com/search/search.aspx?source=searchbox&keywords=jersey

If by any chance you live in Canada, I used to find some cheap fabrics in the sale/clearance area of Fabricland.
