The pattern is from "Absolutely Gorgeous Doilies by South Maid published by Leisure Arts, #18. Pineapple Song. I LOOOVE this pattern and decided to make into a wedding gift blanket instead of a Doily.  Used soft worsted weight yarn and 6.5 hook.

It is wonderful to see traditional beautiful patterns still being used...you did a beautiful job...it is gorgeous and makes such a lovely gift!

so many textures and it looks so lacey even in the worsted weight!

I've made this pattern several times as gifts for friends. How fun that you made it into a blanket! It would not have occurred to me to go there. Good job!

This is just beautiful!  I love how the lace looks in the worsted yarn.  And it's the perfect size for a lap blanket!

Perfect. Doilies made into doilies confuse me. What are they for? Of course they were made to be made with bigger hook and yarn and used for something functional. Love it! Good job.
