@slitty, TWINLINK, and jeevans: she modified this pattern by Lydia the Strange
This is such an easy pattern to follow and most of it is done in the round. The heel part is the only part that isn't done in the round. And that's only 5 to 6 rows depending on how big your foot is.  Grin Once you have the shoe part done, you just crochet around the cuff round and round until it's the height you want.

I have tired and tired and I am not get it.  Wish there was a video, for I am more of a watcher learner than a reading learner.  Guess what I am wondering is which row did you just keep doing?

I love these! I definitely plan to make a pair for myself.
I'm curious to see how the back seam of yours looks. I'm thinking of doing a corset-type effect with mine because I have weird calves and I'm not sure they'll fit otherwise.
