This is a case of " One-Thing-Leads-to Another"!   Roll Eyes
I was trimming a large stack of 12x12 scrap booking paper to use as  scanner backgrounds, and had a 3.5" slice left over from the sides. The finished size is 2.5" x 3.5".
Realizing these scraps needed to be note cards, I quickly shifted into card-making mode. Then next day ( which was sometime in the wee hours last night) I completed about 45 cards.
They are quite simple, but I used my printer to print some stickers I had purchased in digital format, created another sticker with my info for the insides, trimmed the corners with my scalloped scissors, edged the bottoms with a gold metallic pen, and used an OLD gold ink pad and stamps to put a quick extra touch on the outsides.
I placed the inside sticker on the upper portion to allow the proper place for a personal touch... The recipient's name and my signature.
The info sticker was created in MS Publisher. I used an oval shape, a digital paper, and text. Since I am still just learning all these PC skills, It is a VERY big accomplishment!   Grin You can glue them but a neighbor gave me a huge box of sticker paper, which he said he didn't like. Works for me!   Wink

Thanks for looking! K

Thanks Everyone! I went back and chopped up the rest of the paper pak! That's another 150 blanks ready to use!   (My Mom wants some)
Plus, I'll do some valentine's cards for my girlfriends.
Then... I started playing around with overly done envelopes. I sewed lace and ribbon on one and attached a crocheted flower! Perfect for a special occasion gift.
Thanks again for all the sweet comments!

"Thank You", Always!  I went and chopped down the rest of the paper, except for the sheets I saved back. That gave me another 150 card shapes.  I am now slowly working through them. My Mom wants some!
I bought some soft roses digital papers to use, and a new pair of deckle scissors.   I'm also planning to make some with a blank paper inside and
put together a few gift sets.
 I'll post them later!

ha ha I have the exact same problem with fabrics...I will buy a huge piece for a quilt; then I have enough to make a bag; then a pouch; then maybe some yo-yo's...the stash that never goes away!! Cheesy

The final bit I use as ties for cards or for decorating a card...no scrap goes to waste! Cheesy

I am sure people who see them will want a stack of their own! Cheesy
