Hi there!

Another little project I did was with this yellow shirt for men I found at a thrift shop, I really like the yellow color, but I didn't really like shirts. So I thought I'd do something fun with it and changed it into a skirt, with one little pocket.

The final result:

Before (just an ordinary shirt):

More after pictures:

Don't mind my 'shoes', I get cold feet all the time, haha  Cheesy

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think!

What an awesome idea!! I'll have to raid my dad's closet next time I visit my parents  Smiley. How did you do the waist band?
Oh and I love your booties  Smiley.  I too have constantly cold feet!

Haha thanks! Pretty simple actually, I just cut off right under a button, then folded it over (twice, so you don't see the unfinished edge) and handsewed a button on for closure.

I just did something like this today- only I took off the pockets and made an elastic waistband and made a high waisted skirt!

What a great idea! (and the yellow definitely rocks!) I have a men's 2XL button down in a pretty brown houndstooth that I bough ages ago because I loved the fabric, but I never figured out what to do with it..... I may have to try this out! Thanks for posting!
