So I made this for my nephew for christmas.  I originally had planned on crocheting him his moshi monster, but I couldn't find the right shade of green in fun fur, so I went with faux fir instead!  This just about killed my 30+ year old singer!  But he was totally worth it.  My Nephew loves him!!!  It's the fist time I've ever worked with fur.  He was a pretty easy pattern to work up, seeing as how he's just a giant square  Cheesy  But next time, I know not to stuff his feet before i sew them on......... I should already know this lol.  I hand stitched the eyes and mouth on. I stuffed his lips before sewing to give them the puffy look.  Any tips for working with fur would be greatly aprreciated! as I bought a whole yard of the green fur, plus some other colors (the fur was a remnant on sale for $17 instead of $30)

Here he is! Cheesy

And here's my nephew after unwrapping him

i guess he's been sleeping with him every night.  I just wish I could remember what his name was.
Thanks for looking.

A tip might be to make sure the "hair" lies inwards when you sew so you have clean edges. That makes it easier.

It's incredibly cute!

He is so cute. I just adore him. Your nephew is a cutie pie too. I love the excitement and happiness in his face. I always love to see children excited about craft items and how special the items is too them. It's like seeing magic.

Awesome! My kids said that his name is Furi, I'm not sure but I'll take the word of a 5 year old!

Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...

I need a skein (two would be great) of Knit Picks Gloss Bare sock weight to finish a shawl.
