Everything is so awesome! I am so lucky to have gotten those great etched glasses cause I have been wanting some Doctor Who etched glasses for like a year and a half now. Awesome. They are fab! Smiley And I love that you took little Rose and the Doctor out on the town for an adventure... just like old times. Smiley Glad you like them Summer. I made a pair of TARDIS earrings for myself too Smiley teehee.

Tennant Soap OMG.. I'd die.. My poor mother just doesn't see the sexiness that is David Tennant. That man deserves to be wrapped in chocolate and laid out so we ladies can have a taste. He is the only reason I would support cloning, well him and Michael C Hall but that's a totally different obsession.. Smiley

You ladies have inspired me to make myself some Tennant bodywash. I imagine it would smell on the lines of an intoxicating and feminine blend of musk, patchouli, and sandlewood, with light notes of cedar, and chocolate.

I absolutely love the glasses.. I want a set of Doctor Who to go along with my Harry Potter ones Smiley

and sparky you are very talented at decorating things. Maybe you should set up an etsy shop of custom molded chocolates and cupcake toppers Cheesy /hug

That's what I told sparky as well!  Imagine all our fangirl crushes as chocolate?  And I wouldn't mind if you made more choco-Tennants!  I couldn't deprive the world of his chocolate bum!  I will have this board as proof that I had the first!  lol

I cut out the image from paper using an x-acto, then used it to stencil onto masking tape on a cutting board, then cut out that with the x-acto and put it on the glass, so I don't think the angle would matter.

It took me a while to figure out how I was going to do my stencils. After a few (very frustrating) failed attempts, I bought some large shipping labels. I printed the images directly on to the labels and adhered them to the glass, then proceeded to use the x-acto to cut the stencil.  The only bad thing was that the stencils could only be used once because they were just a useless lump of wet paper once I rinsed the cream off.

Rene24601 - I know as soon as my nephew sees my little Doctor and Rose he's going to want them both - he loves miniature things that he can play with Smiley.

I agree with everyone, David Tennant Everythings all around! I love the chocolate and the soap idea made me grin like a fool, lol.

hey, sort of off subject, but figured I would ask:
Can any of you British crafters swap me for a copy of the newest NME magazine? (with noel fielding on the cover)
I would personal swap for supplies or cash or whatever.

I used to have a local place where I could buy in in the states, but they closed Sad

I bet I could find that at the airport newsstand or in town. Will look for you..

I just opened my package from Lilak Tygress and boy, is it amazing. Just what I needed after some bad news today.

First, a sea-salt scrub with almond and orange oil. It says EXFOLIATE! and has a picture of a Dalek in the bathtub. And there's a little TARDIS teaspoon to measure it!

Next is a TARDIS mug, which is so great at first I wasn't sure that she actually made it!

She made the weeping angel charm on this tea infuser, which I will probably use a lot for coffee and tea. I don't know if she used polymer clay, but it is very detailed.

And as an added bonus, chocolate-covered spoons with marshmallows with Gallifrey messages.

Thanks so much!

I got my package!
Thank you so much oodleboodle! I have definitely been needing some coasters, and was kinda sad I didn't do the mug rug swap, but lo and behold I got more than I would have in that! And it's Dr Who! lol

So, here is all of it wrapped up:

I got a journal! Oh, wait, it's a secret compartment! lol And 3 coasters! One of 10 (The tie), one of 11 (the bowtie) and the tardis!

And the inside:

And THIS is what was making my package smell so good! Homemade Jammie Dodgers! (I have to say these may have been the best part...and there is only one let as we speak because I had to share...Smiley )

Thank you so much, oodleboodle!
