hello all

I'd like you to meet my second sewing project.

button is there for show, the velcro holds the bag up. inside has no lining sadly, I didn't have proper fabric for it and I figured it was just an exercise. I am not really sure it was supposed to take 4 hours though :/

how did I do?

I think you did a great job - I love the button and the fold-over top edge of the bag.  Of course, how could I not like/love that fabric - so cute - you did a good job.  I would be happy to carry/show off this bag!!  Keep sewing!  Cheesy

You did an awesome job! I love the fabric and the fold over at the top. The button really adds to the whole feel of the bag, it would be a great summer trip bag.

I think everyone sews at different times. There are times something I know should only take me an hour or so takes me four times that so don't stress about how long you worked on it. As for a lining that's something you can always go back and add.

Looks great. If I judged sewing projects by the time the took I would never be able to sew anything. You just have to focus on how good the result is.  Wink

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.
