I love how versatile these are. I don't really care for the typical loom knitted hats and the way they look. I use thicker yarn and various stitches to make these. (everything is made on the loom, I do not know how to hand knit at all)

Like on a Nifty Knitter loom?  **bows down to your greatness**  My attempts are definitely like the ones you do not like.  I adore the skunk hat and the long toque on the adorable wee baby Smiley

Yes, all made with either the round or the long Knifty Knitter looms. (that's my son with the long elf hat. He will be 2 in less than a week)

Oh! I came here to ask the same question!!! A KKL. Wow. I don't like to knit and I do have a set of those Knifty Knitter Looms (that I've never used--did read the instructions though).
These hats are great. (I love the models.lol) Incredible what you made from the looms. Love the ones with the ear "coverings".
The elf hat is adorable and I just love the one with the peacock feather.
Great job!!!Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Oh aren't they all wonderful?  I love the brims!  How clever!

I think you should link to this post in the Knifty Knitter thread, I know the ladies there would love to see these!

You make me want to pull out my looms again, lately I've been on a crochet kick.

Here's that thread:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51877.0

Wow. These are really cute. How did you learn? I have a loom but can't seem to make anything with it.

There are lots of tutorials all over the internet and I just took various techniques and applied them to whatever I wanted to do.
