Salt Dough Buttons..

hiya...I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I made buttons out of salt dough...

I added some lemon juice to my salt dough mixture which is supposed to make it harder (seems to have worked, I have thrown several on the floor and work surfaces in my kitchen and they're all still intact!) then baked them, painted and varnished them...they're to add to crochet flower brooches...



This photo is before I baked them, I hand shaped most of them but used a cutter for the stars and for some of the smaller round ones.

These are awesome - love them! How much lemon juice to how much dough did you use...or you could just post the whole recipe if you're not sure how much dough you used.
