This is an embroidered hoop based on an Oliver Jeffers illustration from one of my son's favourite books (How to catch a star). I made it for his room which has a space theme!
It's on blue quilters cotton and I kept it simple with the stitches just, back stitch, split stitch and satin stitch.

Perfect for a boy's room.  I love it, great illustration to stitch up.  The texture that you got with your stitches is really nice, it makes me want to touch it.
