(the blue one)

I really wanted to make a long gown for senior formal, even though all my friends planned on wearing short party dresses. So to make it a little more casual, I used a plain cotton fabric. And by fabric, I mean bedsheets. Target was closer than the fabric store, and the set was half off. I thought I was really smart, but all the time I saved skipping the fabric store was spent steam ironing the fold marks out... and I didn't have an ironing board, so I did the whole thing on my wood floor. It took me about two days to make. And one of those days was the day of the dance... It was crazy, but the dress turned out stunning. I felt really pretty in it, and had such a memorable time.

Oh, and it has pockets! (cause I needed to carry some tampons... shhh!) Although, I don't know why I carried that gold clutch bag if I had pockets. That doesn't match at all. Silly younger me...

The dress looks really great and you look really great in it! Smiley I like the one shoulder detail, too.

That's so pretty.  You'd never guess it was bedsheets.  Love that it has pockets too, all dresses (all garments, even) should have pockets. Wink
