Oh, shoot, I just pm'ed you the wrong resolution. Yes, get out of bed on the weekends.  I didn't do a back side. Crap.  I'm so off my game.

Two things - you don't have to decorate the backs of your dotees - sometimes it fits, sometimes it doesn't. I just showed the back to the group so they could see the bottle.

And as far as themes, it's okay. I wasn't married to any of them - just wanted to jump start the creativity for the year.

So I received an awwwesome dotee from craftylittlemonkey earlier this week (and I've finally got a minute free to post).  Isn't this awesome?  One of my resolutions was to play more piano, and this is such a great interpretation!  I love how whimsical this is and it just makes me happy to look at..


As a really cool bonus, she also sent some really cute quilting squares (which is what you see in the background..) Thank you so much!

I recieved from lovesclutter. And I am in love again. She is outgoing and funky and fun. That's what I'm striving for. And the fabric she sent is so cool. Looks like red and gold flames. Thank You lovesclutter. I love my Dotee.

I got the sweetest dottees from amnesia and craftylittlemonkey!!!

First up- amnesia sent me a super-duper embellished one!  I love it!

I feel so bad. Smmarrt sent me some cool  threads, a nice crafty skull to inspire me to get another tattoo. The note and the threads fell out, so I didn't see the note until today and the threads.

When I received the dottee, I went through a very bad experience, and I want you to know Susan, I am soo sorry, I would have felt dissed too. You were there for me and organized this great swap. I will try to get pics of the threads and note.

So I received from lovesclutter a few days ago and seriously haven't had a minute to sit down and post a picture (I love my web-capable phone, but it has its limitations, and posting pictures is one of them).  Normally I'd say the dotee is to remind me to get off my hind end and get crafting, but these days she's going to remind me to stick it in a chair and get some stuff done!  She's full of all sorts of beads, the picture does not do it justice!  Also, love the yarn chosen for the hair (and she sent me the extra - squeee!), I don't know why I never thought about using it.  It's perfect!  But that's what I love about these galleries, so many amazing takes on the same basic idea.  Gives me so many ideas of things I need to try... one of these days...  (the list just keeps growing!)
