How in the world did you make each corner soo straight?!?!?  Shocked

Here's how I do corners
http://www.flickr.com/photos/craftylittlemonkey/sets/72157629063435791/

I've swapped boxes and boxes of supplies in exchange for scrap fabric. Then I swapped squares from my stash for squares from other people's stashes so now I have a large collection of small pieces of fabric, all different. It's a crazy party in that box, let me tell ya!

Sign ups are on for the BORO/SLOW STITCHING SWAP. You totally want to come and play Smiley.

The good news: It isn't locked.

So here's the awesomeness I received from SilverMoon!

First off, a patch with fuzzy bumps and organza ribbons:

Then, because I collect them, a Smurf patch:

And finally... you ready for this?

You sure?

Sure sure?

Okay, here 'tis:

A googly eye creature patch with 3D eyeballs Cheesy

What a great idea for those pesky corners... turn them into ears!
I love how the patches, front and back, all have different textures.

Thanks so much SilverMoon! I hope you like yours as much as I like mine!!!

So many wonderful patches. I love each one. Maybe we should include a small amount of fabric with the patches if we do an ongoing patch swap. BTW swap partners, I have a few more of those doilies...they just might show up in your package.

The googly eye is to awesome.

Remember the patch nilmerg shared in the discussion thread I sent her in exchange for fabric? It was Smurf fabric! I put a call out for it on my facebook and she was kind enough to send me enough for a patch and a small something for my smurf loving children Smiley

The googly eye idea came from a purse Geniale had wisted. The 3d eyes came from a happy meal toy crab which was sacrificed for the cause... I think I need to make a patch with crab legs or claws now, to avoid wastage  Cheesy

I like the idea of getting fabric from other people's stash, just remember that it might not be feasible for everyone to do, due to international postage working on weight. Like extras, that's something that should be worked out with your partner.

I love that Oreo patch. It's making me hungry. You watch, I'll come home from the shops with Oreos when I go to buy school supplies, even though they aren't in the budget!

The orange is my fave second only to that gumball machine! Please post a close up of that, it's too adorable Cheesy.

Sorry for double posting, but I want to second that request for a gumball patch close up - all the better for pinning my dear *maniacal laugh*
