I know! I think I might make a bunch of patches - I was planning on going in a STS this year anyway! Do you think people would like to pick out patches?

Adorable shooting star patch, love it!  And I totally love the turtle button patches Smiley  I have some 'tortoise shell' colored buttons I could use for one myself.

Coming from a current STSer.....um....HELL YEAH!!  I think I maybe will copy that idea, if you don't mind, and put patches up in my shop for claim or custom order in the next round of the swap, as this round is over in just a few days.  There's a bit of overlap with multiple people doing the same/similar items (custom hoops, knitting, crochet, sewing, etc.) so we could totally rock the patches in there together without stealing each other's thunder Smiley  I can claim from you and you can claim from me, and everyone else can claim from both of us!  sheepBlue had offered a couple small TM wallets/clutches a few rounds back and they were out of her shop in no time flat....so if that gives you an idea of how bonkers we would all go over TM patches and completed items.  So, the more the merrier, come on over!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Don't you love coming home from a hard day at the preschool and seeing a mailbox FULL of swappy goodness? I do and I did today. I received the NICEST swap package from quaggy:

Three patches:

Sewing patch with buttons and thimble and needle with thread:

Tea cups with embroidery:

And bird fabric with lovely beading all over:

And so many EXTRAS:

A fat quarter, 3 skeins of embroidery thread and jar full of buttons, beads and charms - whoo hoo!

A close-up of some of the goodies:

A really lovely package to open and to receive. Thanks so much, Robin.

And thanks for making "flattish" patches - the ones I made with fiberfill were a bit lumpy. And your "messy" backs are much neater than my messy backs!
