Space Horses!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a couple of t-shirts I made over.

I had two old black tees that I hadn't worn in years, so I decided to make some nebula shirts out of them. I bleached them, dyed them a wine color, bleached a little more, tied a few knots in them then dyed them blue. After they dried, I painted on some stars. I took a step back to look at the shirts, but something just felt wrong. Something was missing.



Of course, I said to myself after some careful thought. Space was missing it's horses.



Luckily, I had an odd sized scrap of horse fabric that had been awaiting a purpose.





I gave one to my sister for christmas and she loved it. I rock the other one  .

I need a shirt like this like I need food and water!!!!!! Except with WHALES. Because I believe space whales are superior beings as compared to space horses

I can't believe how much effort you went to in order to get just the right effect! Bleach, dye, bleach, dye, paint, applique. Is that about the right order of operations? LOL!
