http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=401996.0

This is a supplies swap, not a crafted items swap.

1 - This swap is NOT chain style.  You may choose from anyone's list once they are posted. This means you may receive a different number of packages than the number you send.

2 – Each claim in this swap should consist of at least $20 worth of supplies. Supplies may be from your stash, bought new, or bought second hand. Supplies should be in good, usable condition.

3 - You may have up to 2 claims outstanding at a time unless you are FOC, then you may have up to 3 outstanding claims at a time.

4 - Once you have been approved, you may post in the list thread.  Your post should look like this:
         - your location and a brief bio (include allergies in red please)
         - your likes and dislikes (such as colors, patterns, etc)
         - your list of supplies you would like to receive – this is all your basic needs as well as coveted supplies.

5 - Remember, the more items and bigger variety of items you have on your list the more likely it is for you to be chosen.

6 - If you are flaked on, you will only receive an angel for as many packages as you have sent.  If you were claimed for 3 packages and you sent 2 packages and one package was flaked on - you will not receive a swap angel.

7 - When you wish to choose someone, please send a PM to the Organizer and the Receiver.  At that point, please request the address from the receiver.

8 - Everyone must make at least ONE claim.

9 - Required: good communication!
All PMs should be copied to the organizer
PM to choose someone and get their address
PM the DC# or receipt when a package is sent
PM when you receive as well as posting a 'Thank You' in the gallery (even if you can't take photos).
Please put "Swap Your Stash" in the subject line of all PMs.  At the minimum, please tell if it is a send or receive, the sender’s username, receivers username and the item.  Otherwise I may go a tad crazy trying to figure it out.

10 - It is your responsibility to make notes in your bio or list about color/size/material preferences, allergies, and when an item has been received (delete it if you do not desire duplicates). Be specific enough so that you are sent items you want, but beware being too picky or people might not choose you. Communication is key for happy swappers.

11 – When all claims have been made (Feb 14) all participants names will be put in a hat as many times as they made claims and one name will be randomly selected. This participant will receive a small extra package that may include supplies and/or small crafted items.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap: Swap Your Stash
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country as it would appear on an address label
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
Confirm that are at least 16 years old or, if not, that you have moderator approval(YES/NO)

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.

My name’s Cady and I live in Portland, OR with my nearly 4-year-old son and my husband Matt. We like reading, crafting, playing outside, geocaching, games, and are a whole house of geeks. We all especially love dragons. I love purple, earth tones, and jewel-like colors. I also love geeky/techie stuff to craft with.

•   Woodburning tips compatible with Walnut Hollow like stamps or hot knife
•   Rare earth magnets
•   Some sort of thread storage container
•   Cool crochet/knit patterns, mostly toys or amigurumi like dragons
•   Metal scales
•   Seed beads, size 11, opaque colors
•   Needle nose pliers
•   Nymo beading loom thread
•   Adjustable beading loom (this is definitely a big, not a medium)
•   Leather pieces – quality lace or pieces over a square foot
•   Colored machine cut jump rings – most sizes
•   Poly beads
•   End nipper pliers
•   Safety eyes and noses – most any shape/size/color
•   Yarn – I have enough plain acrylic (think red heart) but will always be happy to see wool, cotton, bamboo, mohair, or something really cool. Single skeins are fine as I do lots of small projects. I prefer natural tone colors – blues, greens, purples, and autumn tones, but can find a use for crazy colors if they’re cool enough.  Smiley
•   Silicone molds of various shapes. I have enough squares and hearts, though.
•   Plastic chocolate/candy molds – especially lollipop, spoon, and fillable (like cups, truffles, etc)
already claimed - thanks patty_o_furniture
•   Canning funnel
•   Small spray bottles
•   Small squeeze bottles
•   Liquid (not gel) food coloring thanks pseudo_pix!
•   Mannequin head (for taking hat pics)
•   Wool roving
•   Wool felt, even small amounts
•   Wood buttons
•   Scrabble tiles or other non-plastic game pieces
•   Liquid watercolors
•   Watercolor paper
•   Digital kitchen scale (used is fine as long as it's still accurate)
•   Magnetic clasps
•   Stencils of trains, animals, cars, trees, or similar
•   Small eyelets
•   Old t-shirts; the ones on their way to Goodwill or the trash. Most any color.
•   Crochet thread Thanks Scarlet_nights!
•   Needle felting supplies; the needles, molds, etc (I'm just starting and have just the basics)
•   black craft poms-poms (those little 1" fuzzies) I need tons so keep 'em coming

Most of these are listed again on pinterest, some with more details if you need them. http://pinterest.com/saintcady/craft-supplies/

I’m Kira, from Utah USA.  Live with my husband, 2 girls, and 2 cats.  We are big Harry Potter fans, and I like Twilight.  Have a movie room with lots of movie star autographs and movie memorabilia.  We are trying to be better about healthy living and eating non-processed foods and living more green.  I’m looking forward to summer because of gardening and yard sale season.  We love second hand stores and yard sales and love deals, so no worries if things are used. Love all colors, but especially jewel tones over pastels.

List:
•  Any Harry Potter items that would work for a Potter Party, decorations, costumes, party supplies. Hedwig/banners/witch hats/brooms/creepy crawlies…. Anything, just think Halloween. (need before Feb 11th)
•  Parchment or parchment colored paper **thanks Saintcady!**
•  Balloons, all shapes/sizes/colors
•  Interesting looking bottles for potions, plastic or glass.  Any shapes/sizes/colors
•  Clear candy jars
•  Beads, glass or plastic, especially red/silver/black designs. Wood too.  Not interested in seed beads or pony beads.  **thanks Saintcady and psuedopix!**  but can always use more!
•  Charms, silver or gold, any designs
•  Jewelry findings, especially silver
•  Shrinky dink papers
•  Ribbon rolls or pieces, any colors, but especially prints and patterns, holiday ones, or good colors for girl’s hairbows
•  Alligator clips for hairbows  **thanks Shannin!** can always use more
•  Acrylic paints, metallic colors would be neat, need black and red especially, but any are good  **thanks Shannin!** can always use more
•  Cupcake liners in fun prints
•  Wilton food colors
•  Candy eyes or interesting sprinkles
•  Tiny cookie cutters for fondant or polyclay work
•  Metal cookie cutters (already have Christmas and Halloween shapes)
•  Canvas for painting, even previously painted – can give those to the kids  **thanks Shannin!** can always use more
•  Tiny trinkets for I Spy Bags/Jar of whimsies
•  Organizing items/boxes
•  Wire, silver or colors
•  Collectors pins either shapes or local
•  Candy melts
•  Gold ball beads, either plain gold or interesting designs
•  Wood pegs for painted peg people
•  Poly Clay and/or polyclay tools
•  Cardstock, any colors.  12x12 or 8 1/2x11
•  Scrapbook papers
•  Stickers of any kind
•  Any good craft items/kits for kids
•  What do you think I'd like?  Surprise me!

I'm really not picky.  I'll take anything.  I'm not a knitter, but if I got needles I'd try to learn how to do it, LOL.  So if you have stuff you dont want I'd figure out what to do with it!  It's just fun getting crafty mail.  Smiley

Thanks!

Hi.  My name is Robin and I live Portland, Oregon, USA with my partner, Phillip, and our daughter Aria Jae (almost 4).  I spend most of my time entertaining Aria and working on my PhD.  Currently, my craft passions are sewing, some jewelry, and resin.

The coveted List:
  • cotton fabric - okay I covet fabric but I'm extremely picky so I don't really expect to be claimed for this. BUT I could use solid colors in cotton, solid colored jersey knit, my pinterest is a good indication of patterns I like http://pinterest.com/rlynn/fabric-love/
  • Also, here is my pinterest supply love page...http://pinterest.com/rlynn/supply-love/
  • medium to heavy iron on interfacing
  • scrap ribbon/fibers - only need red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple
  • zippers - all sizes, all colors, I'd especially love some with silver zipper teeth
  • buttons - the round variety, colorful would be divine though I'll take black and brown as well
  • silicone ice cube trays - fun shapes welcome except....(we already have flowers, fish, skulls, hearts)
  • watch gears
  • Thread for my sewing machine (all colors, please only gutermann or coats and clark)
  • Serger cones for my serger (need 3 please; all colors but red or blue)
  • Old ornate frames (can be old and need a new paint job, no glass necessary)
  • 45mm or 18mm olfa blades for my rotary cutter
  • assorted cookie cutters
  • watercolor paper
  • Gallery style canvas (the kind that is stretched over a wood frame; any size)
  • muslin (nothing smaller than 1 yard)
  • lace appliques (smaller ones are better, nothing bigger than 3 inches)
  • leather, big or small pieces
  • Oliver + S clothing patterns (4T; boy or girl)
  • black and white ruffle fabric (2 pieces, one at least 1 yard, the other at least 2 yards)
  • wool sweaters that you don't want anymore or that somebody accidentally washed and shrunk
  • eco-felt

Hello, My name is Monica and I live on the coast of North Carolina. We are complete beach people and I am a full time Lolly "grandma". My grandbrats live with me and have for the last 3 years full time. Being a "mom" again to little ones. I just take it one day at a time.

I thing crafting is a way to expand your mind and fill your soul with goodness and your home and make friends also.

We do have some allergies in our house. We cant have anything out of a smokers home. My granddaughter plays in my craft supplies and she is severely allergic to the sticky tar stuff that comes from touching  cig not so much the smoke but I hate that smell so much I don't care what it is it would have to just not be brought in the house to protect her. She has spent weeks and weeks in the hospital on respirators over this issue so please pass if comes from a smokers home. IF you are an outdoor and wash your hands before handling crafts and or supplies that would be OK just not anything from an indoor smokers home.

We also have 2 dogs in our home but they are small and not allowed in our craft areas we also run a whole house hepa to gather allergens.

My name is Leigh-Ann, and I live in Florida with my 4.5yr old son Levi.  We like the beach, travel, reading books, crafting, nature, surfing, and swimming.   Levi loves the color purple, and I like anything bright.  I sew all kinds of stuff, but particularly kids stuff, I also like to try other crafts.

We are both VERY allergic to smoke,   I also don’t like pastel colors, camouflage and lacy things.   I don’t mind used supplies, as long as they have life left!

Sewing/fabric/etc
- FABRIC  Any kind, but particularly fabric sutible for making kids clothes,  currently I really need bottomweights (twill, denim, canvas etc), kid friendly prints (woven or knits), solid colors (any including white, woven or knits).  Knit ribbing.  Stripes, solids, dots.  Designer fabrics of any kind.   And batiks, any amount (for a quilt I’m planning).  Velour in solids or prints.
- interfacing
- Fold over elastic, any color/amount/width.  Can use regular elastic too.
- KAM snaps, really need some orange ones!  But any color will do.  Size 20 or 16 is fine too.

- sewing thread, (or embroidery, or serger thread)
- zippers, any size/color, really need some separating ones for various projects
- ruffler foot for brother/singer machine

- Ottobre magazine, kids or adults.  Also would love to try anything similar to ottobre
- sewing books
- buttons, any
- twill tape
- sew on labels with my logo on them
- sew on labels/tags
- ribbon, any color/prints/amounts, cotton kind that you can sew, not the plasticy stuff for gift wrapping.
- selvage strips cut from fabric
- fabric measuring tapes or measuring tape print ribbon
- doily, just need one, the fabric kind.

Cooking/cake:
- ANY supplies for cake decorating
- Wilton class kit supplies/books (any other than the book for the first class)
- fun sprinkles
- cake pop mold or cooker

- kids size functional cookwear/baking supplies

- agar agar powder/sheets/flakes or whatever
- food dehydrator
- needle nose pliers

Other:
- spray bottles with fine mist (for bleach stencils)

- colored celphane
- stamps and stamp pads - bold, kid friendly designs (I want to try stamping on fabric)
- glow in the dark paint
-resin supplies/kit
-stickers
- date stamp (the kind you can swivel to change the date on)
- X-rays, real or copies, human or animal or whatever.
- ceramic tiles, size/color doesn't matter really, but white or light color would be best

Hi my name is Chris.  I live in Alaska with my husband, 2 dogs, and cat.  I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time outside hiking, fishing, skiing, kayaking, etc.  I love to bring the outdoors inside with nature themed art and colors.  I love greens, browns, fall colors in reds, orange, dark yellows.  I like lots of the fun modern prints that have leaves, ferns, flowers, birds, and so on.  I don't tend to like the more traditional floral prints.  I'm not a big fan of pastels (limited amounts are ok just not as the main color scheme).  I have a fabric board , Supplies Board , and a craft book I want board on my Pinterest please check it out for ideas of things I like/need/want. I'd be happy to receive anything from these boards. I’m not allergic to anything but really hate the smell of cigarette smoke.

Embroidery:
-BIG WISH- Wool embroidery thread or crewel thread/yarn.  I’d love any color/type

- Other unique embroidery thread…I have lots of plain DMC but would love to try some of the linen, silk, wool, metalic or any other unique/interesting embroidery threads.

- Stumpwork kit, supplies, books, instructions.  I’ve been drawn to some really neat stumpwork lately and want to try it for myself.

- Hoops...any size or style

-  Embroidery pattern transfer paper or pens.  I like the ones that disappear with air or water best but any type is fine.

Sewing/fabric:
- Sewing thread, would especially like some machine embroidery threads with variegated colors (greens, browns, reds, yellows) or satin threads.

-BIG WISH- Wool Felt or wool blends;  I can use all colors. I have more than enough cheap acrylic felt so wool or high quality blends only please.

-  Linen material (real linen please not imitation linen) any natural color, browns, or gray.

-  Quilting cotton. Fun modern material: fat quarters or charm packs would be awesome!  I would love to have more modern fun prints like Amy Butler, Heather Ross, Michael Miller, etc.  I have a fabric I like page on my Pinterest to give you some ideas of styles I like.

-  Home dec weight material.  Bright modern prints or nature prints with leaves, trees, birds, etc.

- Diaper making material and supplies.  Fold over elastic, PUL, birdseye cotton, soaker fabrics.

- Snap press and snaps

-  Bias tape makers. Any size but Ό or ½ inch would probably get the most use.

-  Serger thread cones in sets of 3 - 4 please.  Black, Brown, Tan, White, Greens

-  Rotary cutter blades, regular and pinking (45 and/or 28mm size)

- Clover Wonder Clips

Yarn and Fiber:
- Green yarn, especially fun yarn, eyelash yarn, and boulce type.  I have a project in mind that uses yarn to mimic moss.  I could use lots of shades of green and any amount...even small leftovers.

- Fiber/Roving for needle felting.  Any color but I use natural colors the most.

- Knitting patterns.  Jultomtar & Teeny Tomte , Snowmes and Snowmestool ,

Other:
- Soapmaking supplies.  Fancy oils or butters, beeswax, silicon molds, etc.

- Glass eyes.  Small sizes from 3- 6mm.  Solid black or black w/clear iris or dog or cat irises in shades of brown and green.

- Ribbon and trims Fabric/sewing ribbon not gift wrapping.  I can use all types and colors, even small pieces.

- Animal or doll eyes and safety eyes.  I’ll take any size, shape, and color.

Books:
See specifics on my Pinterest or...
I love the Ernst Haeckel art forms in nature type books and CDs.
An encyclopedia of embroidery stitches type book.
An encyclopedia of knitting stitches type book.
Embroidery pattern books
Any felting and/or fiber art books.
Sewing, knitting, embroidery, or cooking magazines
