I finally did it - after seeing so many fantastic recons on here I bought a pattern - scoured the thrift stores - and made myself a dinosaur dress. I work with kids and every-time I wear it I hear whispers to parents 'Mummy that lady has dinosaurs on her dress'

I have made one other dress with this pattern and plan to make some more - I have a fairy bed-sheet set and some pirate material. Wish me luck

Oh, so wonderful! And don't you just love it when kids are all impressed?
I tend to browse the kids section for fun sheets as well. A wonderful place to find incredible patterns Wink

I love it so much! Every time I go to the thrift store the linens are the first thing I check!  I have Power Rangers, Care Bears, 2 different TMNT, Smurfs, Snow White, Duck Tales, Mickey, and a couple of others that I make all sorts of things from Smiley

Woohoo! That fabric is amazing! And I'm also curious: what pattern did you use?
