Sometimes, I colour outside the lines on purpose.

This was my first quilting attempt and I must say I am rather proud of how it turned out all things considered. I used this pattern: http://alexiaabegg.squarespace.com/journal/2010/11/15/a-glorified-coaster.html and fabric from my stash to create a Star Wars themed mug rug for my husband. It wasn't that hard and only took an afternoon so I'm sure I'll be making many more in my future.

I received it in a craft swap forever ago. It had been used to wrap something up. I'm pretty sure it is part of a bed sheet.

I love Vader and Leia on the sides, so you can see them when the mug is on top Smiley  (Do I spy a Sens fan?  Smiley  )
