Hey everyone, I came across a tutorial by Queen Mab, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=396675.0 that I just loved. She used spray starch and fabric to create an adorable Christmas tree. I wanted to see if I could do the same to make a design on my bedroom wall. It's not perfect but I like it for my first attempt. I will probably add more elments to it later.

I do have a few notes to make.
I used a satin like fabric which of course shows more imperfections like bumps or places where the starch was a little thick, I don't think I would recommend that type of fabric for a fellow first timer.
I also had to starch and iron the fabric before I put it on the wall, this helped lay it flat on the wall since its flimsy fabric and bigger pieces.
Lastly, I had to use the iron directly on the fabric on the wall just to dry it quick enough so the piece didn't peel off.
Hope you'll give it a try I think the possibilities are endless! I know I will do it again with maybe more complex designs.
