I had this wonderful pineapple pattern for a scarf.  I loved it so much I wanted to make a blanket it out of it. Used Brushed white yarn  on the middle panel and brushed turquoise on the two sides. JoAnn's has this yarn called Rainbow Boucle Shimmer yarn which I used as the 2nd yarn throughout.  Nice and slouchy, soft and my mother-in-law loved. WIN WIN!!

I love pineapple patterns! This is gorgeous, I have never attempted this style, is it difficult? I was going to give this a crack: http://snugsmontreal.blogspot.com/2008/02/knock-off-bikini.html for when I get my figure back (heck, what am I saying, I've never had a figure) BUT I much much much prefer your blanket

NO, uber easy.  this pineapple design doesn't require you to fasten off and start over it is done in one big strip.  COOOOLLLL Bikini...so never going to wear something like this unless I can "craft" the perfect body to go with..Oy.
