Hello!

As stated in the title, this was my first attempt at stranded knitting.
It was a birthday gift for my dad so I needed a pattern that works for guys, I used this one off Ravelry; http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/alpaca-earflaps
Didn't follow the pattern exactly... I left off the ear flaps, changed the dots around the top a bit and added ribbing around the brim. also messed up a few times but it's not to noticeable:)

apologies for the weird/corny pictures:) these are all I have since I already gave the hat to my dad.

I used yarn from from my stash, 80% acrylic 20% wool worsted weight.

Comments and critiques always appreciated:)
