That sweet doggie is the cutest!!  My gosh, how did you get her to pose like that?!!

You're the best OGD - I'm taking a break right now from the sewing to check in here.  I'm sure the package you're sending is A-OK the way it is!   Cheesy

i truly think the bags so far have been fabulous but im biased and think this parcel from wendiek is the best!!

the bag

and a close up of the lovely hens!!

and i got 3 fabulous extras
lovely coasters and iron on patches

then i have to say this is my favourite bit of the parcel........a lovely bag with my most favourite picture appliqued on the front and its all lined with a pocket inside!

and finally the group shot with the chocolates that i wasnt sure would still be there when i got back from uni

thank you wendie, fabulous parcel i hope you like yours just as much - the extra is STILL drying its taking ages!! hopefully tonight it will be dry, i can finish and send.

You are more than welcome! I had a lot of fun sewing, I liked it myself a lot too and so is my family  Smiley Because of your Pinterest and Etsy favourites, I bought "Scandinavian stitches", learned how to sew a little hen and now you have received I can add the birdies to my Wists too!

You are teasing me, making me feel curious... But I am sure I will love what you've made!

@ OGD: what a cute dog! The way she looks at you ... awww, quick give her some doggy cookies... I feel the urge to do so... Hahaha, Tinkerbell would be twice her size if she'd be mine  Grin
Oh, you just stop sewing and crafting and start sending, receiving and enjoying  Cheesy

Tinkerbell sure is a cutie!  Those chicks are lovely, are they part of the fabric or an embellishment?

Wow, Wendie, that's a great package you sent to farmerswife!  I LOVE the morsbag; the hens are just the sweetest things, and I like the simplicity of the hens on the plain fabric, with the little accents of red--it's a really nice bag!
The coasters are really sweet too; I love it that each apple is a different fabric.  The second bag, with all that hand sewing on it is fantastic!  I want everything in this package!!!

Thanks ladies!
The ideas weren't mine, I saw it in farmerswife Etsy favourite shops....

The hens are an embellishment; I sewed them on with dark brown silk thread. The small red wing is a sewn on piece of fabric.

The other bag with the birdies, are small pieces of felt and then embroidered. The birds are red, but the colour is hard to capture. 3 birds are darker red than the others.

The coasters are an idea in saw in "Scandinavian stitches" GREAT IDEAS!! (bought the book immediately)
These were ironed on and then straight stitched around the edges. Hope that makes sense!
I loved those so much, I sewed 4 for ourselves too but farmerswife's are much better!

I loved this package too, we really match! Think will make more bags with hens and birdies... new addiction  Grin

Sorry, long story, but I am proud and had too much fun!! Cheesy
