I made this based on a sewing pattern from JonaG (stop staring and start sewing blog). I used Schachenmayr Catania yarn and crochet hook 3 (European). I made an inside pouch for extra protection with off white wool felt. Didn't even need to attach it to the pouch. It just sort of clings to the yarn.
