For Christmas, my baby sister (well, she's 15, but she's the youngest) found a Toothless plush for sale on Etsy. Being the DIY person I am, I found this pattern http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=spirit+toothless#/d2qfxq1 & made it myself. I got this awesome plush during the after Thanksgiving sales at JoAnn's, pretty sure I got it less than half price. Combined that with black fleece after realizing I hadn't bought enough (I took a guess not having looked too much at the pattern at that point & having no idea it was so big!). I also made the eyes, which, in hindsight, I wish I had placed completely differently, oops. Anywho, enough rambling, here he is, all 3 1/2 feet long by almost 4 feet wide Toothless. Smiley

And since my baby sister absolutely loves zebra print, I added a little twist & gave him a zebra print prosthetic to personalize it for her! Awesome find in the scraps bin at the JoAnn's. Cheesy

C&C welcome!!

ETA - Oh, bonus! My puppy & the Toothless, apparently the latter is nommy. lol

Thanks, guys. Smiley

It was pretty easy! The areas that gave me problems were the nails & the eyes. For the nails, I ended up doing trial & error of how big the nails needed to be to work for the fleece I was using. The eyes , once installed, are tied with some carpet thread to make them indent & gauging how tight to make that didn't work as well as planned. Besides those two parts that kind of threw me, I though it went really smoothly.

I got black plush fabric from JoAnn's on sale, it's a really short nap & kind of has a squiggly texture in it. I got it on a really good sale & was really happy with how it worked out. Smiley

I guess my sister absolutely adores him, don't know how much she cuddles with him, but she is so, so fond of him I'm sure she does. Smiley And you should give it a try, how could something so adorable turn out badly? lol
