I made this hoop for average_fan, in the swap "Embroidery Hoopla round 7 : negative space & silhouette".




Here are the Cheshire cat and Alice from the Disneys cartoon Alice in wonderland.
I superimposed the two figures, and embroidered the non-common parts.

(thank you average_fan for this picture very useful in understanding the embroidery)

Its embroidered with Kensington stitches.
I found amusing that we should make an effort to distinguish the two figures Smiley

so well thought out, I love how you put the two pictures together, played with positive and negative space, and the choice of black and pink with the little extra circle of stitches around the outside, all fabulous.  Great work!
