They turned out great!  I love that you took inspiration but made them your own...and yes, they are fabulous for vinyl and plastics!

I love the fabric...but I especially love that you used what you had!

I send a lot of my sewing newbies to TheMistressT's post since I think these are a fabulous addition to your tools and supplies!

love these

Thank you Alwaysinmyroom! I'd bookmarked TheMistressT's post the minute I saw it then remembered it when I saw your post, I think, in the 50 projects in 2012. (yes, I lurk there).Got me moving. Now planning to do a cover for my scissor carousel.

Lol. I've noticed. You have so much energy and talent.

You've probably seen the carousels. It's a black plastic carousel that holds those scissors that cut in different ways\shapes. zig zag, cresents, etc. I'd take a pic but I gave my camera to DH to take pics of the snow w\the kids.
I bought clear plastic a couple of yrs ago for another project and now am trying to use it up and a dust cover seems good.

embercustumer, Thank you very much.

Gah!  You two have got me all worked up to make some for myself!  That and my embarking on some large-sized cutting and sewing projects.

Lol! You should. I used them for the first time today and they helped a lot! I'm in love with the tin you made. I've got to get into paper crafts. I've no real access to a real craft store so I have to...shezz forgot the word. Look at things differently...think outside the box. (Or take a trip to the states. lol)

I've been dabbling in the paper crafting!  And looking at things differently is what creativity is all about, right?
