Ok so.... I ordered a football jersey online and for some reason completely missed the fact that the sleeves were the butterfly style...

I tried it on when I got it and I HATE how it looks on me... I'm crafty (enough) and was hoping to get some suggestions on how to make this wearable... I was hoping to wear it for our first playoff game on Sunday...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated- seriously... I don't want to waste $25 on a jersey I'll never wear...

Thanks!

Well I guess you could stitch a seam down from the shoulder to the edge of the sleeve and take out some of the excess.

That would give it more of a raglan look. Then depending on how the sleeve is constructed you may be able to add a ribbed band to the sleeve hem.

Thanks for the suggestion Smiley  I just got done playing with it a bit and decided how I think I'm going to attack it... I'll just have to deal with the fact that the zebra print (or siberian tiger as my fiance likes to call it)  will not match up as well.  Hopefully once I get started with my sewing machine it'll turn out for the best!
